Michelle Martin is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds an Associate degree in Communication, Behavioral Health, and American Sign Language from College of Sequoias. Michelle transferred to Fresno State to obtain a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies and later went further to obtain a Master of Science on Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling.

I am a first-generation Latina from the Central Valley ready to serve her community when it comes to mental and emotional health. My passion and approaches utilize inner child work while utilizing evidence-based interventions such as but not limited to CBT, mindfulness, Gestalt, Person-Centered, Gottman, etc.

I am a bilingual clinician with years’ experience in the field of behavioral health. I’m a big believer that therapy isn’t “one size fits all” when it comes to different interventions and meeting the client where they are at in their journey while providing a safe and therapeutic environment.

I have worked with all age groups and have provided therapeutic treatment to the severally mentally ill population in unserved and underserved communities. I am trained in the areas of crisis management, intervention, de-escalation, advanced threat assessment and threat management on school campuses, within the workplace and local communities.
