The therapeutic process involves opening your mind towards changing what is not working and giving consideration for alternative perceptions/behaviors that may be healthier or make you feel happier. Your treatment plan will be created together and uniquely tailored to your individual needs and ideals. You will be able to gauge your progress over time, feel a sense of direction, and come away with an enriched toolbox of skills to combat anxiety, depression, conflict, and communication difficulties.
Depressed people tend to spend too much time in the past, whereas anxious people often spend too much time in the future. I offer insight into relaxation and mindfulness techniques that help people increase focus on the present, while balancing goals to seek closure from the past and plan for your future.
